At the start of every year I head out somewhere for half a day, usually to the lake, to set my goals but this year I’ve had an exciting idea! This year, I’m keen to to offer some retreats, so I thought I’d kick off the year as I mean to go on and offer a goal-setting overnight retreat for women in January. Kinloch Lodge is the setting for XL Coaching’s ‘Ready, Set, Goal Retreats’ for women.
Quarterly retreats that support you to relax, reconnect with what’s important to you; to reflect in one of the most majestic spots on earth and to return home renergised by meaningful and inspiring goals.

Retreat Outline


Saturday –

10:30 – Arrive Kinloch Lodge 10.30am (car pool). Drop gear off and car pool to Lake Rere
11:00 – Walk around Lake Rere – a 4-hour walk, which we’ll take 6 hours to do (opening circle, facilitated questions to support you to connect in with what’s important to you and what you most want for life/biz, lots of reflection, journaling opportunities, meditative walking and chit chat).
17:00 – Return to Kinloch cup of tea
Personal time (journaling opportunity)
Hot Spa before dinner (optional)
19:00 – Dinner at Kinloch (buy your own drinks from the bar)


Sunday –
7:30 Sunrise kayak – one hour
10:00 Scrambled eggs and smoked salmon highly recommended (or your choice from the menu) and tea or espresso at The Glenorchy Café
11:15 Walk around the Glenorchy BoardWalk – 2 hours (facilitated questions focussed on how to achieve goals – creative visualisation, law of attraction, removing limiting beliefs etc.)
13:15 Drive home.

Cost:

$395 per person including GST (includes accommodation, three course evening meal, kayak, breakfast and tea/coffee)
($15 cash to driver for car pooling to and from Queenstown)

NB: The accommodation is clean and tidy backpacker style including shared bunk rooms or doubles, Please let me know your willingness to share a room or willingness to share a double bed (I’ll assume you’re coming with a friend). Or if you prefer your own room, I can amend the price accordingly.

Bring:
1 new journal and pen (splash out and buy yourself a special one just for this occasion, one that really speaks to you)
1 packed lunch for Saturday
1.5 litre bottle of water
Sunscreen, sunhat, insect repellant
Walking shoes (trainers are fine).
Rain jacket (you never know, but it had better not!)
Towel and toiletries
Togs
Layered clothing (you know how it can be)
Casual clothing to change into for the evening
(All bedding and towels are provided)
